Corporate Permits
A corporate permit
may be issued to a Corporate applicant after consultation between the
Departments of Home Affairs, Labour and that of Trade and Industry.
This consultation is designed to determine the maximum number of foreigners
which may be employed in that industry.
This type of permit caters for the importation of skills on a short term basis in much needed skills categories and also for the mining, agricultural and forestry industries which employ the bulk of the migrant labour employed in South Africa.
